Working for 20 years in close contact with clients, designers, and architects, Laurie Fowler & Bill Thelen specialize in site-specific commissions. Their fascination with form, movement and texture is reflected in an innovative design approach, incorporating fiber, suede and metal on three-dimensional welded steel constructions. Weaving directly on the steel armature ensures exceptional durability, minimal maintenance and ease of installation while allowing the artists a unique exploration of the relationship between sculptural form and the handwoven surface.

Drawing from a background in both art and architecture, scaled elevations and renderings of proposed works can be provided along with color samples for limited edition pieces and commissioned originals.  Delivery time is based on size and current client schedules.
